Mahindra U301 side view gives a better idea at the SUVs size
Mahindra & Mahindra, leading SUV makers in India are planning launch their next generation Bolero, codenamed Mahindra U301 as on date.
Expected to launch later this year, just ahead of the festive season, the upcoming utility vehicle will sport compact dimensions. These are now clearly visible in these new spy shots, which reveal the Mahindra U301 side view. It will be based on a Scorpio hydroformed ladder frame chassis. The U301 is in a sub four meter category with most of the body flat paneled so as to keep costs in check and final pricing competitive.
Interiors of Mahindra U301 will feature a new dashboard design, an instrument cluster borrowed from the XUV500 and three spoke steering wheel with steering mounted control. It will also sport a state of the art touch screen and infotainment system that includes a 2DIN system with formats that include AUX-in, USB, Bluetooth and CD/MP3 players. The top end U301 will receive feature such as automatic climate controls and additional safety features like ABS and dual front airbags.
Boasting of highly fuel efficient engines and modern technologies along with optional AMT, Mahindra U301 is slated for launch in a price range from INR 5-8 lakhs.
