Maruti Jimny has started to arrive at dealer showrooms – Detailed schedule of Jimny dealer display in Delhi NCR region revealed
Ever since Jimny debuted in India, it has been one of the most talked-about cars. Surprisingly, India is getting a better version of Jimny as opposed to the global market. Maruti Suzuki is offering a far superior product in India compared to what is currently on sale as Jimny in the global market. Ahead of the official launch, Maruti continues to test the Jimny. And now, the latest spy shot has captured the Jimny next to its main rival, Mahindra Thar.
Maruti Jimny Spied Next To Mahindra Thar For The First Time
Until now, we have only seen the Jimny 5 door in the Kinetic Yellow colour. Now, for the first time, we get to see a new colour – Nexa Blue. Hat tip to Himalayan Solitude channel for sharing the exclusive video of Jimny’s new colour as well as capturing Jimny next to a Mahindra Thar. The vehicle spotted in Shimla is a test mule, as indicated by its red number plate. We reckon it would be the final phase of testing before the start of production.
The said test mule was spotted in Shimla, being recorded from a vehicle following it. In the video, both individuals laud appearance and road presence of Jimny with Nexa Blue Colour. But they also mentioned how Thar comes off as a much larger product. Which it is, despite having just a 3-door body as opposed to a 5-door body of Jimny.
Maruti Jimny Nexa Blue comes off as one of the most attractive options provided by Maruti Suzuki. It might not be as shouty as Kinetic Yellow or as stealthy as Bluish Black, but it should be one of the safer choices with a personality for many. Other colours include Sizzling Red, Granite Grey and Pearl Arctic White. Prices for Jimny will be revealed soon.
Maruti Jimny Dealer Display Schedule – Delhi NCR
Ahead of launch, Maruti will be showcasing Jimny at their authorized Nexa dealer network. The first dealer to showcase Jimny is in Gurgaon, where the Jimny is currently on display for a period of 2 days. The dealer tour of Jimny started on 16th March, and will go on till 6th May. In this period, it will be showcased for 2 days at 26 outlets in the Delhi NCR region. Full time table can be seen below. Maruti Jimny 5 Door Is Feature Loaded
Unlike global Jimny 3 door, the one set to launch in India, is far more premium and feature loaded. For starters, it gets a larger 9” infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as opposed to a 7” unit in global models. There are 5 doors as opposed to 3 and there are 6 airbags too.
We get LED headlights with washers on Jimny to clean muck off while off-roading, cruise control, push-button start, automatic climate control, ARKAMYS tuned sound system and more. Euro NCAP has crash-tested a 3-door Jimny yielding 3 stars. It is not yet sure how the Indian version will fare with added airbags and kit. Rivals include upcoming 5-door versions of Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.
