Maruti Vitara Brezza was the most talked about car of 2016 Auto Expo

Launch of new Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to take place on the 23rd of March 2016.

India’s largest automotive show, 2016 Auto Expo started on 5th February and concluded on 9th February 2016. In the course of these five days, there were over 6 lakh visitors at the venue and millions around the globe who searched for Auto Expo over the internet.

Of all the cars, bikes, commercial vehicles, etc, which were on display at the 2016 Auto Expo, the most talked about the car was Maruti Vitara Brezza, a sub 4 meter SUV which will be launched in India next month. Other cars which managed to create a buzz during the Auto Expo were Honda BR-V, VW Ameo, Tata Hexa and Hyundai Tucson. All these cars will be launched in India this year.

If you recollect, Maruti Vitara Brezza was also the first product which was unveiled, and in a way kick-opened the 2016 Auto Expo on the morning of 3rd February (3rd and 4th Feb were media days). One of the most awaited launches of this year, Maruti Vitara Brezza is the first Maruti Suzuki car which has been designed and developed in India.

Built on a new-generation lightweight platform, it comes with a 1.3-liter diesel engine which is capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm via a five-speed gearbox. Aimed at new generation first time buyers, Brezza will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.

Seen with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, dual tone colours, silver skid plates, muscular wheel arches, and 16-inch alloys on the outside, Maruti Vitara Brezza on the inside gets seating for five, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, airbags, AC, and much more.

We expect the price of new Vitara Brezza to be in the range of INR 7-10 lakh upon launch.
