Based on the Maserati Kubang Concept which was showcased back at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, new Maserati Levante made its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. And finally after about two years, the car has been launched in India.
The first-ever Maserati SUV, Levante has taken about five years to take shape. Based on the same platform as the Ghibli, Levante keeps much of the design similar to the highly impressive Kubang. In India, it is available in three trims – Levante Diesel, Levante Diesel GranSport, and Levante Diesel GranLusso, priced from Rs 1.45 cr, Rs 1.48 cr and Rs 1.53 cr respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Speaking about interiors, they are very similar to that of Ghibli. Highlights include premium leather upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system.

Speaking about engine options, the new Maserati Levante SUV is 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine which delivers 275 hp peak power. It is mated to a 8 speed automatic transmission and claims a top speed of 230 kmph. It does a 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds.
