Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 facelifts have been launched in India at a price of Rs 75.2 lakh and Rs 77.69 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. Both these refreshed models will receive exterior and interior updates.
Mercedes AMG has launched five new models in India over the past year with the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 facelifts are the 6th and 7th cars from the company to be launched this year. Both models are seen with exterior updates in the form of new decals, yellow strip running the length of the car from the front the rear bumpers, ORVMs and blackened 19” alloy wheels. A boot mounted spoiler and yellow accents will also be seen on the GLA adding to its sporty stance.
Projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and rear diffuser with quad exhaust setup also forms its new exterior features. Inadvertently, of the 7 AMG cars introduced this year, Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, and GLA 45 are entry-level vehicles for the brand’s performance young. This makes both models the most affordable AMG offerings in the country.
New interior equipment includes an 8.0” touchscreen infotainment system with 360 degree camera. Interiors also get matching yellow accents. In true AMG styling, the interiors are in a black and red color scheme with a multi function steering wheel wrapped in black leather and red stitching. The infotainment system consists of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink with smartphone connectivity. Cosmetic tweaks include gloss finish, signature AMG badging and body kit, highlights across the side skirting, a black grille, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 facelifts get powered by the same 2 litre, in line 4, turbocharged engines developing 375 bhp power and 475 Nm torque mated to AMG Speedshift DCT 7 speed dual clutch transmission sending power to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4Matic system.
