The Ontario-based company is not the first to lay hands on a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG, as it is one of the iconic SUVs that hasn’t gone out of style despite its boxy figure and old-school styling. And the very same near-flat panels seems to be making armouring mods easier. The Mercedes G63 AMG is stretched in the mid-section by 1.09 metres (43 inches) and has windows in that portion unlike their previous model. Body is coated with matte black.
Inkas’ stretched and armoured G63 AMG is protected by electroluminescent bulletproof glass windows and armoured passenger compartment capable of stopping 308 Winchester FMJ ammunition (7.62 x 51 mm). Protection extends to floor board as well, which can withstand detonation and shrapnel from blasts of two DM51 grenades.
Interior of custom armoured Mercedes G63 AMG has captain-style seats with heating, cooling and massaging functions, and upholstered with exotic leather sourced from Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Passengers can enjoy the comforts of refrigerator, satellite TV system, LED lighting system and an indoor exhaust system intended to recirculate air from inside the cabin in less than a minute.
Further, Inkas Corporation has added a special drawer for a special edition Leonardo da Vinci Montblanc pen, and in the front panel there is a speed-pistol holder in case matters have to be taken in one’s own hands.
