Launch price of S400L Hybrid was estimated to be around RM888,888 (Rs. 1.63 crores approx.). Now after complete duty cuts, the limo is priced at RM587,888 (Rs. 1.08 crores approx.) OTR without insurance. Other S Class variants that were launched along with Hybrid S400L, are priced at RM1,080,000 (Rs. 1.99 crores approx. ) for S500L model and RM1,600,000 (Rs. 2.94 crores approx.) for S63 AMG variant.

The 2014 National Automotive Policy (NAP) of Malaysia has made this relaxation possible, and have extended this courtesy to CBU hybrid cars of all engine displacements.
