MG Motor India has donated a specially customized Hector ambulance to a hospital which is about 11 kms from the company plant in Halol, near Vadodara in Gujarat
Not every vehicle on the street can be used as an ambulance but given the right size, and thought flow, a lot is possible. MG Hector has been in the news for all the right reasons since launch owing to its sales numbers in the segment. And now, at a time of nationwide lockdown, it’s again at the forefront for a much needed functionality.
The company has presented a modified MG Hector ambulance to support Referral Hospital, Halol for any emergency situation. What counts is, the vehicle is equipped with top quality medical equipment. This includes auto loader structure, oxygen system regulator, 5 para monitor medical equipment, and a lot more.

So, while it may not fit the traditional description of an ambulance, it will meet specific requirements, and best of all, it’s fitted with reliable modern equipment, which is usually makes a huge difference.
And while it looks tight for space, things are but obviously in the right place to meet the requirements of an ambulance for it to have been approved. At times like this, it’s the gesture and thoughtfulness that counts. For now, the brand continues to do more in other need based avenues.

MG Motor India recently made available 100 Hector SUVs. This is dedicated for safe travel of frontline warriors. Enveloped in crisis in the times of COVID-19, there have been reports of unfair treatment of frontline workers.

In a welcome move, MG Motor India has made available a fleet of 100 MG Hector vehicles. These will be used to transport doctors, medical staff, police and local government officials until the end of May 2020. The month long project supports the overall effort towards tackling Covid-19 in India.
The support is free of cost and is a comprehensive one. MG Motor India is providing fuel and drivers so key workers can travel safely. The MG India dealer network is charged with making the vehicles available during lockdown as per state government rules.
The manufacturer has already introduced a process for disinfecting and delivering and will be following these protocols for its vehicles being pressed into service for frontline work. MG Motor UK too has taken a similar approach and committed 100 MG ZS EVs to NHS agencies.
