The MINI Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition is priced at Rs 44.90 lakh and will be open for bookings on Amazon.in from February 15, 2020.
MINI Clubman has been introduced in an exclusive Indian Summer Red Metallic colour which reflects its vibrancy and liveliness. Offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs.44.90 lakhs, the model is limited to just 15 units and bookings will be opened on Amazon.in from 15th February 2020.
Setting it apart as the most unique and sophisticated MINI to date, the special-edition Clubman boasts of outstanding craftsmanship and functionality while its bold Indian Summer Red Metallic colour is reminiscent of the Indian summer sunset. Its exteriors are dominated by a large radiator grille, LED headlamps and fog lights along with mirror caps and redesigned rear lights which sport the Union Jack design as a tribute to the MINI heritage.
The tailgate comes with an Easy Open function which allows hands-free access and entry by waving one’s foot under the boot. The interiors also exude a sense of uniqueness and space with comfortable seating for up to 5 persons and a boot capacity of 360 litres (which can be extended to 1,250 litres). Driver and front passenger seats are electrically adjustable with memory function. They are done up in Leatherette Carbon Black.
The central display is integrated into the dashboard while there is also a 6.5-inch colour screen that serves for a variety of functions; be it infotainment, telephone, etc. The multi-function steering wheel is leather-wrapped and the panoramic sunroof allows for entry of natural light and a wide view of the outdoors. Ambient lighting is offered in a range of colour options while the MINI logo is projected onto the driver side when opening and closing the door. Interior equipment also includes central armrests, automatic climate controls, anthracite headliners, Bluetooth hands-free and floor mats in Velour.
The MINI Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition packs a lot of safety features. The list includes front and passenger airbags, brake assist, crash sensor, cornering brake control, ABS, DSC and run-flat indicator. Besides the standard MID mode, there are two more options: SPORT and GREEN.
The MINI Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, TwinPower Turbo engine that offers 192 hp power and 280 Nm torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100kmph is achieved in 7.2 seconds while the top speed is 228kmph. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch Steptronic transmission with an electronic selector lever.
