Audi Q2 has managed to generate a buzz ahead of its global debut at 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The smallest Q SUV ever, the Q2 will be slotted below the existing Q3, which is currently the most affordable Q SUV on offer. To be launched later this year, Audi Q2 will replace Q3 as Audi’s most affordable SUV.
Almost everyday we get to see new teasers of the Audi Q2 SUV, but none has been revealed in flesh. This time, Ferdfanpage managed to get capture the Q2 in flesh. Though the focus is on the person who is probably being interviewed, we can easily see Q2’s LED DRLs and a bit of side profile.
Expected to be the top-end variant, the Q2 does not feature black plastic claddings on wheel arches. It gets body coloured door handles, blackened B and C pillar, and body coloured ORVM with integrated turn indicators.
Built on VW’s MQB platform, the new Audi Q2 will be offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engine options. It will also get Quattro all wheel drive system along with drive modes. Interiors will feature leather upholstery with steering mounted controls, auto AC, cruise control, start/stop, keyless entry, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, rear parking camera and much more.
2017 Audi Q2 will launched later this year in Europe while in India, the car could set foot by 2017.
