The new Bajaj Avenger has been having an excellent response since its launch late last year. The nameplate which used to clock a rather mundane average monthly sales volume of around 3,000 units is now raking up in the tune of 20,000 units a month. The company has released a new TVC to keep the buzz alive.
The short video promotes the cruiser’s comfortable seat by comparing it with a luxurious sofa. The ad ends with the tagline – “The most comfortable seat on the road”.
The updated Avenger family now has three variants namely Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220. The Street variants offer sporty color theme, alloy wheels, black accents and a flat handlebar for improved handling within city environment. The Street variants target urban youngsters who use their vehicle to commute.
The Cruise variant targets touring enthusiasts with its high-mounted handlebar, relaxed ergonomics, spoke wheels, dual-tone color theme and a lot of chrome elements. Bajaj has managed to spin off two distinctly different ergonomic variants without making extensive changes.

The new Bajaj Avenger series is expected to continue its strong run in the coming months. The automaker is already gearing up to launch the V15 premium executive commuter which is made with the metal salvaged from INS Vikrant naval aircraft carrier which was decommissioned in 2014.
