The new Bajaj Avenger series which includes Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220 variants has been launched in Nepal at NPR 249,900 (around INR 1.56 lakhs), NPR 284,900 lakhs (INR 1.78 lakhs) and NPR 294,900 (around INR 1.84 lakhs) respectively.
The new compact displacement cruisers have been doing extremely well in India post the update. The most significant update is the introduction of the new 150 cc engine which produces 14.5 PS and 12.5 Nm of torque. The existing 220 cc air-oil cooled carbureted engine has been retained. The range-topping motor produces 19 PS and 17.5 Nm of torque. Both motors are mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The Street variants target young urban audience with its sporty flat handlebar, dark color themes (150 gets blue and 220 gets black) with decals, black finished engine, and alloy wheels. The Cruise 220, on the other hand, caters to the touring enthusiasts with a comfortable tall handlebar, chrome enriched elements, a classic dual-tone color theme and spoke wheels.

The new Bajaj Avenger trio will be imported into Nepal as CBU and distributed across the country by Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, the official importer of Bajaj products. Like in India, the new Avenger series will be rivaling the slightly more premium UM Renegade series of cruisers in Nepal.
