All-new Force Trax Cruiser BS6 people carrier can seat up to 13 people (including the driver).
New Force Trax Cruiser BS6 with comprehensive updates has made its debut at the Auto Expo 2020. It will continue to target rural markets and commercial operators with no direct rival in the market. The 2020 Force Trax Cruiser receives an all-new front fascia with smoked rectangular headlamp clusters and a larger black grille with horizontal slats.
The new elements go a long way in giving the new Cruiser a more private car-like appeal compared to its predecessor. The boxy profile has been carried forward but the doors receive revised crease lines and new body decals. The flared black plastic wheel arches and foot board enhance things. Coming to the rear, the new Trax Cruiser sports ditches the bumper-mounted horizontal taillights in favor of larger vertical units mounted higher. The three-part rear windshield are connected now.
The Force Trax Cruiser BS6 also benefits from an all-new dashboard which is certainly several notches above that of the outgoing model. The dual-tone colour theme, new instrument console with blue-lit MID and provision on the center console for an audio system makes the new Cruiser more habitable than before.
The people mover is equipped with AC (with roof-mounted vents for rear passengers), center console-mounted power window switches, dual-tone beige upholstery. The vehicle’s USP, however, is its seating configuration of 2+3+8. The rear longitudinally mounted bench seats can accommodate 4 passengers each.
The 2020 Force Trax Cruiser is compliant with the current safety regulations. The commercial vehicle receives a new 2.6-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which is BS6 compliant. The motor, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, is good for a modest 90 hp (still more powerful than the older model which had 67 hp on tap). The vehicle is equipped with front disc and rear drum brakes. The new Cruiser sits on independent front and rigid-axle rear suspension systems.
The new Force Trax Cruiser is expected to go on sale in April 2020 with a notable increase it price. There will also be a goods carrier version called the Kargoking. Force Motors also showcased updated Gurkha off-roader and a new T1N monocoque bus at the Auto Expo 2020.
