New Hero Super Splendor 125 launched in India – Price Rs 57,585

Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the new Super Splendor at an attractive price of INR 57,585. It boasts of a host of new features and exciting color options and is set to cement the company share in the 125cc segment in which it commands a 55% share.

Set to appeal to customers across the country, the new Hero Super Splendor is presented in five premium metallic color options of Black with purple, Black with Fiery Red Black with silver, Candy Blazing Red and Heavy Grey.

Developed by Hero at its Centre for Innovation and Technology in Jaipur (CIT), the Super Splendor boasts of features that include a sportier seat design, new side panels and new LED tail lamps. It also gets safety features among which are All Time Headlamp On (AHO), side stand indication and side reflector. Among its many comfort features are a comfortable seat and wider rear tyre and it also gets a large under seat storage space with side utility box.

Hero Super Splendor is powered by a 125cc, air cooled, 4 stroke, single cylinder engine offering 8.4 PS peak power at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm mated to a 4 speed transmission. It gets Torque-on-Demand and Hero’s i3S technology of idle stop and start system. Though the engine is the same 125cc engine seen on other Hero models, it has been tweaked for 27% more power and 6% more torque while the bike can accelerate to a top speed of 94 kmph.
