The new Isuzu D-Max is priced from $27,500 / INR 17,70,587. 2017 Isuzu D-Max receives refined exteriors with LED lights, redesigned front end and tail gate, new spoiler designs and refreshed headlamps with LED DRLs. It also gets a new chrome grille and new 18” alloy wheels fitted with 255/60 R18 tyres.
Interiors are noted with air-conditioning, power windows, Bluetooth connectivity and USB ports along with Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control features which will be offered across range.
Other features offered in the Utah spec model includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB digital radio and sat-nav along with heated front seats, rear parking sensors and automatic air conditioning. Blade variants receive tinted windows, 9” multi function touchscreen and remote locking tailgate. It also gets puddle lamps and parking sensors at the front and rear.
In the UK, it is powered by a 1.9 liter, four cylinder diesel engine offering 150 hp peak power and 350 Nm peak torque. For India, engine specifications on 2017 Isuzu D-Max includes a 2.5 liter four cylinder turbo diesel engine capable of 134 hp power and 320 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. It could also get a 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine offering 174.3 bhp power and 430 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission.
Apart from the new D-Max, Isuzu is also planning the launch of new MU-X in India. This will be a full sized SUV which will take on the likes of Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Chevrolet Trailblazer in India.
