New Isuzu V-Cross Jonty Rhodes Limited 30 package launched at Rs 1.99 lakhs

Sturdy, capable and built on a ladder on frame design, the new Isuzu V-Cross has gained much popularity in the Indian market. It is capable of taking on the most rugged of terrain thanks to its 4X4 makeup. Ever since its launch, it has created a good amount of fan following as well. Today, Isuzu India announced a special offer for all V-Cross owners in the country.

Isuzu has launched Jonty Rhodes Limited 30 package for V-Cross owners. Only 30 kits are available and each is priced at Rs 1.99 lakhs. It will be given on first come first served basis. Speaking about the package, Isuzu says – it includes “exclusive sporty accessories and once in a lifetime experiences with ISUZU India’s lifestyle ambassador, Jonty Rhodes.”

Isuzu says – “The exclusive sporty accessories, specially designed for the Standard Variant of the V-Cross, include Body Graphics with Jonty’s signature & ‘Limited 30’ emblem, front & rear skirts, deck bed-liner, sporty black faux leather seat cover embroidered with Jonty’s signature, add-on skid plate, door visors, B-pillar sash-tape, courtesy lamps, illuminated rocker-plates, front foot-well illumination, door garnish lights and special carpet mats.”

Isuzu V-Cross is a luxury pickup truck that is built for weekend getaways. Its exterior is dominated by a radiator grille with thick borders and in a single horizontal slat design. It also receives swept back projector headlamps, roof rails, turn indicators with chrome ORVMs. The 5 seater V-Cross sits on 16” alloy wheels and gets high ground clearance which ensures its excellent off-road performance. The V-Cross measures 5295mm in length, 1860mm in width and 1840mm in height. It sits on a 3095mm wheelbase and gets ground clearance of 225mm. Deck space has dimensions of 1485 x 1530 x 465 mm and can take on pay load of 265 kg.

Interiors of Isuzu V-Cross are seen with black with silver accents on door trims, seat and central console. There is a 7” touchscreen infotainment system dominating its dashboard with Bluetooth, USB and AUX-in. Driver convenience features include a tilt adjustable steering wheel and height adjustable driver seat. Driver armrest storage, cup holders, multi function display and two electronic trip meters are also seen. In terms of safety features, the Isuzu V-Cross gets dual front airbags, central locking, ABS, parking sensors, low warning lamp and ISOFIX mounting points for child seats.

Engine specifications on the V-Cross pick-up truck includes a 2499cc four cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine offering 134 bhp power at 3600 rpm and 320 Nm torque at 1,800-2,800 rpm mated to a manual transmission. This transmission system receives shift-by-fly gear shifter mechanism allowing for smooth shifting of gears with the drive line connected to all wheels. ARAI has certified an 11kmpl range on the Isuzu V-Cross which varies according to payload and maintenance. In terms of competition, the V-Cross only competes with the Tata Xenon and Mahindra Bolero pick up.
