New Mahindra KUV100 NXT compact SUV launched – Price Rs 4.39 lakh
Mahindra KUV100 NXT, an upgraded and refreshed KUV100 SUV, has been launched. It comes with better features, an retuned engine and extended dimensions.
Just in time for the Diwali 2017 festive season, Mahindra has updated their smallest passenger vehicle. Called KUV100 NXT, it now comes with new bumpers at the front and rear, which gives the compact SUV even more dominating stance. It gets a new front grille, body cladding and distinctive wheel arches as well.
Headlamps and tail lamps also get refreshed with clear lens designs at the rear. Dimensions have also increased with the Mahindra KUV100 NXT now measuring 3,700mm as compared to the 3,675mm length seen on the KUV100. It sits on new 15” diamond cut alloy wheels, gets integrated roof rails and a sharper tailgate spoiler. Mahindra will offer the KUV100 NXT in six single tone paint shades and 3 dual tone paint options.
Interiors will sport some design changes as well. It will be exclusively offered in a 6 seater layout though a 5 seater layout could be offered only on order basis. To be offered in 10 trim levels as against the earlier 24 seen on the KUV100, the NXT lower trims will be seen with grey interiors and higher trims in all black interiors.
Mahindra KUV100 NXT will also be better equipped where infotainment and safety is concerned. Depending on variants, the KUV100 NXT will boast of a 7.0” touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, maps from MapmyIndia, remote locking, gear shift alerts, automatic climate controls, steering mounted controls, adjustable driver seat and mood lighting. ABS, EBD, dual airbags and corner braking control will be offered as standard.
Mahindra KUV100 NXT will continue to be powered by the 1.2 liter petrol and 1.2 liter diesel engine offering 82 hp and 76 hp respectively mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. However, both these engines have been tweaked to offer better fuel efficiency as compared to its earlier counterpart. NHV levels are also significantly reduced. More details below.
