New Renault Captur facelift showcased at 2017 Geneva Motor Show

Set to be available on sale in the UK from Summer, the 2017 Renault Captur could carry a price tag of around £14,945 / US$ 18,238 / INR 12,07,629. It is being presented in a two tone color scheme with three additional colors of Desert Orange, Ocean Blue and Amethyst besides a new Mercury Silver option for its roof. These new color options now add to a list of 36 different color configurations buyers can opt for on the 2017 Renault Captur.

On display at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, various design updates were evident and the small SUV now boasts of a new grille design borrowed from the new Kadjar, new skid plates on both bumpers and new 16” and 17” wheel designs along with full LED headlights.

Interiors get quality plastics and chrome updates while steering wheel receives full grain leather. New door panels, LED roof light and better seating are also seen on the facelifted Renault Captur. As an option, Renault is offering a Bose Premium Sound System with the new Captur which is standard on the Renault Signature S Nav trim while R&GO, Media Nav and R-Link get a range of features and equipment as standard.

Top of the range R-Link also gets a 7” touchscreen, 3G connectivity and Bluetooth. Safety features include keyless entry, easy park assist, blind spot warning and push button start.

2017 Renault Captur will continue to be powered by a 135 Nm 0.9 liter engine and a 190 Nm 1.2 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual or dual clutch auto transmission.
