Following successful launch of the Tata Nexon in Nepal and Sri Lanka, Tata Motors through its dealer Niton Motors Limited, have announced launch of the Nexon in Bangladesh. This compact SUV is offered in the XZA+ trim and in petrol and diesel engine options while prices are at BDT 24.90 (Rs 21.5 lakhs) lakh for the petrol variant and at BDT 25.90 lakh (Rs 22.3 lakhs) for its diesel engine counterpart.
Same variants in India, are priced at Rs 9.48 lakhs and Rs 10.41 lakhs. The price in Bangaldesh is more than double due to import duty and local taxes. Tata Nexon compact SUV will appeal to buyers in Bangladesh with its sporty stance and revolutionary design. It is presented in six color options of Etna Orange, Vermont Red, Moroccan Blue, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey, and Calgary White.
Tata Nexon scores high in terms of safety having bagged a 4 Star adult safety rating by Global New Car Assessment Program and highest adult safety score of 13.56/17.00 among all models tested by Global NCAP in India.
Tata Nexon was unveiled by Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Chairman, Nitol Niloy Group and marks the first step into the compact SUV segment in Bangladesh. The Nexon is the second product from Tata Motors to be launched in Bangladesh after the Tiago which was launched in January. It is with this new ATM variant of the Nexon that Tata Motors aims not only to increase market share in the compact SUV segment but also in the passenger vehicle segment in the country.
Tata Nexon compact SUV gets first in class wearable key feature. It is seen with Automatic Transmission and offered in multi drive modes of Eco, City and Sport. Manual Tip-Tronic mode ensure manual shift of gears for a clutch free drive experience while Crawl function with Smart Hill Assist offers convenient stop and go in city traffic conditions. Anti Stall, Kick Down and Fast Off features also ensure better driving experience while a HARMAN infotainment system gives better in-cabin entertainment.
Tata Nexon is offered with a 1.2 liter turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and a 1.5 liter Revotorq diesel engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission with an AMT gearbox. It comes in with 100,000 km / 3 years standard warranty.
