New Triumph Tiger 1200 XC and XR launched at 2017 EICMA

Triumph Motorcycles has officially unveiled the new TIGER 1200 XC and XR at EICMA 2017. Each of these new adventure motorcycle comes with a host of new features and equipment with engine too tweaked for added off-road performance.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer for Triumph Motorcycles said; “The new Tiger 1200 range is so advanced it has taken a full four years to develop, and today we’re proud to launch a family of motorcycles that altogether boasts significant class-leading engine characteristics, rider-focused technological innovations and premium styling; all in the name of first-class riding enjoyment. These are by far the most adventure-ready Tigers ever built.”

More than 10 kgs lighter than its earlier counterparts, the new TIGER 1200 XC and XR owes this weight saving to new and lightweight engine block, chassis and exhaust components. There are also better riding comforts offered on the new models in the form of cast and spoke wheels, metalized tanks, improved cruise control, keyless ignition and seating with ergonomically designed material. Integrated LED lights, adaptive turn lights, high specification Brembo front brakes, full TFT adjustable full color instruments and off road facilities in a choice of six driving modes and adjustable seat height is also on offer. New body colors and contemporary graphics also set the new TIGER 1200 XC and XR apart

Engine specifications include a new torque-laden 1200cc engine offering immediate power delivery at lower rpm. Improved sound, reliable delivery, anti rebound assisted m-brake and enhanced control for rider across any terrain are the highlights of this bike that also allows for all road low speed responsiveness and immediate acceleration.
