2013 Renault Fluence will be seen with a more contemporary and bolder look. Changes to the Renault Fluence will be seen in the form of a larger, one piece bumper and grille.
A glossy black strip also connects both headlamps while an air dam section is divided into three parts contributing to a sportier stance. LED daytime running lights have been added, situated above fog lamps and 10 spoke alloy wheels add to the overall effect. Interiors of Fluence have also been upgraded. An LCD display has been added to the 2013 range. Front and rear parking sensors, automatic parking brake and a host of infotainment features have been incorporated which include more enhanced USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary input connectivity.
Seats have also been upholstered with fresh options, though it is the Fluence’s new engine which is causing all the excitement. Renault is offering an Efficient Dual Clutch gearbox for its diesel variant. The six speed twin clutch unit offers 240 Nm of torque. Performance will be stepped up due to the fact that this engine will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 11.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 185 kmph, reports AutoCar.
