A set of Renault Kwid TVC has been released, with an objective of creating a buzz ahead of its launch. The TVC which features Ranbir Kapoor also informs prospective customers that the bookings are open.
In a first, Renault Indian has started accepting bookings for the Kwid via mobile app named after the car. The app not only enables customers to book the car but also lets them browse through the wide range of accessories and many other value added services.
The Renault Kwid budget small car will be launched in time for festive season deliveries. The company is hoping that the Kwid will give it enough momentum to achieve a market share of 5%.
The hatchback will rely on its generous dimensions, SUV like styling and best in class features to make headway in a segment which has been dominated by the Maruti Alto for decades. Renault India has assured that the Kwid will have a price range of INR 3-4 lakhs (ex-showroom). It has managed to achieve this by developing the vehicle in India and localizing it heavily. At 98%, the baby Duster is the most localized automobile in the country.
The hatchback will be available in four variants with the top-end trim sporting a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation, front power windows, centre locking, fog lamps, body colored bumpers, passenger side ORVM, etc.
