Royal Enfield wants to promote motorcycle customization in India. Globally, custom builders have a huge fan following among the motorcycle community, but the same lacks in India. The reason is not that bikers in India don’t like customization, but quite different. They do not have many places to go to.

In order to promote custom builders, Royal Enfield has tied up with for independent custom builders – each of which have custom-prepared a Royal Enfield. All these four bikes are now on display at the company’s flagship store in Delhi’s Khan Market.

The name of these four custom builders are – Inline Three, TNT Motorcycles, Bull City Customs and Bombay Custom Works. The motorcycles were selected from the existing range for customization which showcase the bike modifiers distinct style and craftsmanship. Of the four custom RE’s, three are based on the Classic 500 and one is based on the Continental GT. These bikes, each with its unique theme, are seen with bold colors and chrome accents along with a mix of copper, wood and leather.

To mark this occasion, Royal Enfield has also revealed a new collection of gear inspired by these motorcycles. This collection includes tee-shirts with custom built motorcycle prints, RE denims and cargo pants. Helmets with chrome and carbon are also introduced along with accessories such as gloves, belts, badges and boots. The entire collection can be purchased at company dealerships, gear stores and through online gear stores besides via e-commerce portals line Myntra and Flipkart.

Mr Samrat Som, Head, Royal Enfield Apparel & Accessories Business, said, “Royal Enfield has always been the preferred canvas for those seeking motorcycle-nirvana through the custom route. Collaborating with the custom builders is the brand’s way of celebrating a motorcycling-inspired way-of-life. We applaud the efforts of these custom builders for creating ingenious artworks with our motorcycles which are a clear representation of quirkiness on roads. And with our refreshed collection of gear and helmets inspired by these motorcycles we assure our riders of a unique riding experience which goes far beyond just motorcycles.”
