Tata Motors’ Tiago, Tigor, Nexon and Harrier are being sold with attractive cash discounts and benefits through August 2020
It was earlier this year that Tata Motors introduced the facelift versions of the Tiago, Tigor and Nexon while MY 2020 Harrier, Altroz and Nexon EV also made their entry into India. The COVID-19 pandemic struck and production came to a standstill affecting overall sales. However, in July 2020, it can be noted that Tata Motors has seen a significant increase in sales.
In a bid to boost sales further, the automaker has announced discounts and benefits for August 2020. These discounts are on the Tiago and Tigor and also on the Nexon and Harrier variants but there is no discount on the Tata Altroz.
Tata Motors Discounts
Tata Tiago hatchback is available with benefits upto Rs.28,000. These include a cash discount of Rs.15,000, exchange benefit of Rs.10,000 and corporate discount of Rs.3,000. The Tigor which is now available with an updated engine, competes with the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura Hyundai Xcent in the compact sedan segment. It is being offered all through August at a discount of Rs.35,000 which includes a Rs.15,000 cash discount, Rs.15,000 exchange benefit and Rs.5,000 corporate discount.
Tata Motors is not offering any discount on the new Altroz. Launched in January 2020, the Altroz is currently the most affordable premium hatchback on sale in India priced from Rs.5.43 lakhs for the petrol variant and from Rs.6.99 lakhs for its diesel counterpart.
Buyers of the Tata Nexon Petrol and Diesel variants through the month of August 2020 will not receive any cash discounts. Nexon petrol and Diesel corporate buyers could get a discount of Rs.5,000 while Nexon diesel buyers will get an additional Rs.15,000 exchange bonus.
Select dealers of Tata Motors in Tier 2 cities are offering a massive cash discount of Rs.1 lakh on the Harrier XMA and XZA variants. These benefits go down to Rs.80,000 on select Harrier variants, except XZA Plus and Dark variants. It includes a cash discount of Rs.25,000, an exchange benefit of Rs.40,000 and corporate discount of Rs.15,000.
On the two exclusive Harrier XZA Plus and Dark Edition variant, the exchange bonus is at Rs.40,000 and corporate discount at Rs.15,000. Tata Harrier which was updated at the beginning of this year competes with the MG Hector in its own segment.
