Tata Motors has started accepting bookings for their new flagship, the Hexa. To be launched on 16th January 2017, Tata Hexa bookings are now being accepted across India at an advance payment of INR 11,000. This amount is fully refundable if you decide to cancel your booking at a later date.
The bookings are off to a good start as the company reveals that they have already registered over 250 orders in a matter of 2 days since the start of bookings. This is a good number considering the fact that the car will be available in a range of INR 14-20 lakh on road.
Tata Hexa is powered by the 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine which produces 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque when mated to a 6-speed automatic as well as manual transmission. AT is offered with 4×2, while MT is offered with 4×2 as well as 4×4.
One of the most ambitious project to be undertaken by the re-energized Tata Motors team, Hexa will lock horns with the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV500. Built with inputs from Land Rover team, Hexa gets some exciting new features, which were never before seen in the segment. One of them is the four drive modes.
Some of the exterior highlights of the new 7 seater SUV are smoked headlamps, glossy black grille, 19 inch, alloy wheels, LED DRLs, LED taillights, etc. All this giving the car an imposing look on the road.
On the inside, Tata Hexa will be equipped with a range of features like leather seats, extra legroom and headroom, AC vents for all passengers, charging ports on all three rows, etc. In addition to that, quality of materials is much better than ever seen on a Tata car.
