At the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, India’s Tata Motors have showcased a new colour of Super Ace Mint pick-up truck. Launched in India last year at a starting price of INR 5.09 lakh, Tata Super Ace Mint is designed for those who are self-employed and run small businesses.
Tata Motors claims that the new Super Ace Mint offers best in class ROI, thanks to high efficiency of the vehicle and low cost of maintenance. It is ideal for intra and intercity transport.
The matte black colour option you seen in the images, is not on sale anywhere in the world till date. This is the first time Tata Motors has showcased such a colour on Super Ace Mint. When asked if the company plans to launch such a colour in the market, officials stated that it depends on the customer interest which they will gauge at the ongoing Bangkok Motor Show.
Power to the new Tata Super Ace Mint comes from a 1.4 Litre DiCOR (common rail) diesel engine which delivers max power of 70 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The gearbox is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. In order to ease driving, it comes with power-assisted hydraulic steering system, comfortable seats, Air Condition, disc brakes in the front, with 165 R14 inch tyres.
