The Tata Zest Sportz edition with body kits has been introduced to celebrate the compact sedan’s 2nd Anniversary in the market. Though the Zest didn’t quite emerge as the turnaround specialist that it was envisaged to be, the Dzire rival managed to sell over 50,000 units in these 2 years.
The Sportz Edition involves dealer-level fitments such as aerodynamic body kit (the image shows red contrast elements for a blue car), tri-color red-grey-black decals, contrast colored wing mirror housings, visors, and alloy wheels.
The celebratory offer also includes a special scheme with an emi of just INR 3,999, free insurance worth INR 30,000, exchange bonus of up to INR 30,000 and other benefits of up to INR 68,000. The deal makes the Zest a very attractive value proposition.
The top end-Zest is equipped with projector headlamps, foglights, alloy wheels, Harman touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone-enabled navigation system, ABS, dual airbags, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, etc.

The Zest is powered by a 1.2-litre RevoTron turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine. The former is tuned to produce 90 PS and 140 Nm of torque. The oil burner is available in two states of tune – 75 PS/190 Nm and 90 PS/200 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across the lineup but the 90 PS diesel variant can also be had with a 5-speed AMT.
