2015 Toyota Camry facelift for India unveiled at Moscow Motor Show

Toyota’s 2015 Camry facelift is on display at Moscow Motor Show being held from Aug 27 – 7 Sep, 2014. Compared to the US-spec model, the India bound Camry can be seen with a host of visual changes, both exterior and interior.

It receives fresh styling at the front with a new grille design as is also seen on the Corolla facelift. New headlights and a narrow upper grille are also evident. At the rear is a redesigned bumper, new chrome strips running the entire width of the car while the 2015 Toyota Camry facelift sits on new alloy wheels.

Interiors boast of a new instrument panel with back light, dominated by a 4.2” color TFT display. A 6.1 or 7.0” screen for multimedia is also being offered in the 2015 Camry facelift while steering wheel and central console are also in a new design. Interiors also feature wireless mobile charger, automatic beams and heated rear seats.

2015 Toyota Camry facelift (21)Engine specifications on 2015 Toyota Camry facelift consist of 2.5 liter inline four engine offering 181 hp and a 3.5 liter V6 petrol engine capable of 249 hp besides a new 2.0 liter straight four petrol engine generating 150 hp. This new engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission, as compared to earlier 4 speed auto.

For International markets,the Camry facelift will come in with design changes as seen at New York Auto Show earlier this year. It will make its way to India sometime in 2015 in a price range of INR 25 lakhs, though no changes are expected to be seen in India spec variant’s engine configurations – 2.5 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine generating 180 bhp peak power and 233 Nm peak torque.
