My Volkswagen Connect app available as standard with Polo GT TSI and Vento Highline Plus
With ‘My Volkswagen Connect’, VW India introduces its sim-based connected vehicle assistant. The system records, protects and analyses vehicular data. This secured and enhanced connected car experience draws from tech to transform mobility and its associated systems.
Volkswagen India doesn’t have very many vehicles for sale in its portfolio. Polo GT TSI and Vento Highline Plus customers can use the system as a standard feature. My Volkswagen Connect features real time location, Towing alert, geo-fencing, route deviation alert and SOS call among others.
Sim-based My Volkswagen Connect app
The sim-based app transforms a regular driving experience into a connected one. My Volkswagen It’s simple interface can be accessed by plugging the dongle to the on-board diagnostics (OBD) port. It has to be downloaded on a smartphone, and paired to any Android/ iOS device post a secure OTP exchange on the registered mobile number.
My Volkswagen Connect app analyses an individual’s driving style. This monitors speed, braking behaviour, coolant temperature, acceleration and RPM. Customers can locate point of interest, and reach out to customer care or Road Side Assistance (RSA) in an emergency.
My Volkswagen Connect app lets you scan, upload and store important vehicle documents or related official documents. This convenience means one can access any needed documents at any time.
Available with 3 years of free subscription
The feature is now available with 3 years of free subscription, and 3 years of warranty. As a convenience, the app is useful to set renewal reminders for vehicle insurance and receive ‘over the air’ (OTA) software update. With access to real time vehicle analysis and driving patterns, one can have a better understanding of personal drive trends, which works similar to personalised feedback at all times.

In keeping things upbeat this festive season, Red & White special editions of Polo and Vento with dual-tone paint scheme have been introduced. As part of an introductory offer, the new dual tone colour can be selected at no extra charge.
The colour update is the only update to the vehicles, and entails no tech or other cosmetic changes. VW Vento, Polo Red & White special editions are available in Highline AT trims at a price of Rs 9.19 lakh for the Polo Red & White, and Rs 11.49 lakh for Vento Polo Red & White (both prices are ex-showroom).
