Volkswagen Vento Facelift Spied in detail
Both, exterior and interior updates of 2015 Vento facelift are noticed in the new spy shots. New Volkswagen Vento is slated for launch in June 2015 and will retain the same engine lineup as is seen on its current counterpart.
Seen here without any camouflage, 2015 VW Vento facelift was noted to sport a new rear bumper design, exhaust tip, and a body painted line runs across its bootlid. In the front is a new dual slat grille and new front bumper design which were the only few visible changes on the facelift.
Volkswagen Vento received a minor update recently, back in September 2014. It is powered by new 1.5 liter TDI engine offering 105 PS power at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm torque at 1,500 to 2,500 rpm mated to a 5 speed manual and 7 speed DSG gearbox. Apart from this, there is also a 1.6 liter petrol engine (only 5 speed manual) and 1.2 liter TSI turbo petrol engine (only with 7 speed DSG).
Volkswagen Vento is produced from the company plant in Chakan and is exported to over 32 countries globally. In India, 2015 VW Vento facelift will be offered in a price bracket of INR 7.5-10.5 lakhs while it will compete with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz and Skoda Rapid once officially launched in June this year.
