Today is a noteworthy date for Honda Cars India Limited as they make their foray into the MPV segment with launch of Honda Mobilio MPV. Launched from a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakhs, Honda Mobilio MPV competes with Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova.

In a bid to strengthen market share and bring in yet another success story into the country, Honda Cars India will be launching the Honda Mobilio MPV in India on July 23, 2014. Prelaunch bookings have already commenced at a down payment of INR 50,000 across India, strengthened by active campaigning and strong advertising.

India's largest car maker, Maruti has been known to launch limited edition variants, whenever there is a new rival about to be launched in the market. They launched Regal Edition for Swift DZire when Honda launched Amaze. And now, with Mobilio launch near, Maruti announced Ertiga Limited Edition

Set to be launched by the end of July, new Honda Mobilio bookings have officially opened, as stated in their new TVC. Promising to undercut competition coming from Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Nissan Evalia, and Chevrolet Enjoy quarters, the Honda Mobilio is India's most fuel efficient MPV.
