BBC Entertainment to telecast Top Gear India Special episode tomorrow night 11 PM
One of the most viewed automobile shows on TV, BBC Entertainment’s Top Gear is going to telecast their India Special episode tomorrow night at 11 PM. This is the same Top Gear episode which was criticized by many Indians around the world, as Top Gear’s host Jeremy Clarkson condemned the state of toilets in Indian trains.
Coming back to the Top Gear India Special Episode, all three current presenters of BBC Entertainment’s Top Gear, James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson are on a mission to boost the tumbling British economy, for which they decide to set out on a road trip in India.
Traveling in three iconic British cars – James is seen driving a Rolls Royce, Richard has a MINI and Jeremy has a Jaguar, their journey begins in Mumbai. In Mumbai their task is to help the famous dabbawallas in delivering lunch boxes. Hustling and bustling through Mumbai traffic, the trio manage to deliver dabbas.
Next they head to Jaipur, where James, Jeremy and Richard are seen competing with an elephant, Nano (worlds cheapest car), auto rickshaw and finally a policeman, all of whom are trying to win Top Gear India Hill Speed Climb Event.
After Jaipur, the trio leave for Delhi, where they invite VIPs of Delhi for a Gala dinner, hoping that at least they will help revive the British economy. But they fail once again. From Delhi, they now head towards the mighty Himalayas, to Simla. In Simla, three of them play special form of cricket with local boys. After enjoying the scenic view in Simla, the team heads home, failing to revive the British economy.
