New Suzuki Gixxer SLK spy shot reveals side profile in detail
New spy shot of Suzuki Gixxer SLK from what appears to be inside the premises of Suzuki Motor India’s Gurgaon plant, reveals finer details of the bike.
New Suzuki Gixxer spy shot shows a dispatch-ready unit, with all final fittings, seat wrap and new livery. The subtle yellow accent, on rims and livery, help avoid the bike from looking monotonous as blue / body colour dominates the black parts and panels now. The centre cowl which is finished in an ivory like colour, is left bare black on fully faired Gixxer.
Apart from the full fairing fitted up front, there seems to be none other enhancement in Suzuki Gixxer SLK. The sports model could have had better appeal with clip-on handlebars, split seats or dual headlamps, for starters. The fully digital instrument panel mounted on the headlamp assembly in naked version is not embedded into the fairing retaining its position. Turn indicators which were orange tinted on the street fighter, feature clear lenses in the faired version.
Gixxer SLK is powered by the same single cylinder 154.9 cc air-cooled engine with OHC, producing most likely the same 14.8 PS max power @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm peak torque @ 6,000 rpm, mated to same 5-speed gearbox.
