JCBL to work with PLA SLA to bring caravans to India for Rs 75 lakhs

JCBL, foremost bus body manufacturers in the country, have tied up with PLA SLA of Italy to launch caravans in Indian markets. Two such ultra luxury motor homes, each at a price of between Rs 75 to 80 lakhs will grace the Indian market.

These caravans will be fitted with a lounge, kitchen, refrigerator, toilet and a bedroom and will be based on the Fiat Ducato Chassis. Two models HS 75 and M 740, when not used as a travelling caravan, can also be converted into an office, guest house, and entertainment centre and are perfectly crafted with both style and imagination. The company hopes to sell around 100 units in the first year of launch itself, with targets to sell between 500 to 600 units in the next three years.

JCBL has tie up with PLA of Italy, Stratiforme of France for Fiber Glass Components while they will also be entering into an alliance with COFI of Italy for Refrigerated Vans and DOLL of Germany for Heavy Duty Trailers. JCBL has investment a sum of INR 100 crores for this project while their target group will be metros and major tourist destinations in India.
