Hyundai i-tech i10 special edition launch and 9,000+ kms iDrive
Hyundai motors India Limited launched a special edition ‘i-tech’ i10 variant to commemorate sales of 12 lakh units globally. Since its launch in 2007 the i10 has been enthusiastically appreciated by customers all over. The special edition model will be priced at Rs. 4.24 lakh and Rs. 4.57 lakh (ex- showroom Delhi). Existing i10 models are priced at Rs. 4.08 lakh to Rs. 4.45 lakh.
The special edition of the i10 is known as the ‘i-tech’ and will be available in two variants namely a 1.1 liter engine and a 1.2 liter engine. Features of the special edition i10 include electro chromic rear view mirror with built in rear view camera, red and beige upholstery, steering mounted Bluetooth device to permit handsfree phone function as also ‘i-Tech’ graphics and logo. Red accents on the dashboard and door provide a sporty yet comfortable look to this car. Stylish yet sporty, Special Edition ‘i-Tech’ i10 will be available in Hyundai showrooms pan India.
Hyundai has also begun a Cross Country Drive – ‘i-Drive India’. The first edition i-Drive India was flagged off at at Hyundai Motor Plaza, New Delhi, and sees the newly launched Special Edition i Tech i10 in participation. The 25 day drive will traverse 9,000+ kms across the ‘Golden Quadrilateral’ route across Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Silvassa-Mumbai-Goa-Hubli-Bangalore-Coimbatore-Kochi-Salem-Chennai-Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam-Bhubaneshwar-Kolkata-Gaya-Varanasi-Agra-Delhi-Jammu-Delhi and ends on March 29th, 2013.
