2013 Mercedes Benz G63 AMG SUV launch in India on 19th Feb 2013
Mercedes Benz India has revealed that they will be launching their first car of 2013 on the 19th February in the form of 2013 G63 AMG SUV.
The G63 will be fitted with a 5.5 liter AMG bi turbo V8 engine offering 544 PS at 5500 rpm and peak torque of 760 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine will be mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Not much has changed where design is concerned but Mercedes Benz has ensured that the G63 comes in with a new front bumper design which results in larger air intakes. G63 will be introduced with a host of features, updated infotainment system and all the possible internal comforts and luxuries. Expected to be priced at INR 1.55 crores, the G63 AMG will sport an aggressive new grille design, five spoke 20” wheels and various other upgrades.
Where safety features are concerned the 2013 Mercedes Benz G63 AMG will sport the ECO Start/Stop function, AMG high performance brakes, a new Sport Exhaust System, ESP Hold and ESELECT. Weight of the G63 AMG is at 5700 lbs (2585 kgs), wheelbase of 112.2 inches, while dimensions LXWXH stand at 184.5″ X 76.3″ X 76″, while acceleration from 0-60 mph stands at 5.3 seconds.
