2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to get 600-1000 hp upgrades from Hennessey

Hennessey is well versed in modification of sports cars and has experience of 20 years. Their latest venture is the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, which is scheduled for launch in October 2013. Prior to official launch launch, Hennessey has announced upgrades in the range of 600 – 1000 hp.

A total of 4 upgrades are on offer, which will cost you in the range of $12,495 – $67,950, this is apart form the base price of approximately $52,000 for the regular 6.2L 8 generating 455 hp. Hennessey has been working on these upgrades since the last 1 year. They will come in the form of an Eaton supercharger along with custom CNC factory cylinder heads and a retuned engine control unit.

Hennessey has announced four various upgrade packages along with their prices which are inclusive of installation charges. The HPE600 Supercharged comes at a price of $12,495 offering 600 hp at 6,300 rpm while the HPE700 Supercharged costs $18,450 capable of 700 hp at 6,300 rpm. This is followed by HPE800 Twin-Turbo at a price of $54,950 offering 800 hp at 6,300 rpm while top of the lot is HPE1000 Twin-Turbo costing $67,950 and offering 1,000 hp at 6,300 rpm.
