Jeep unveiled 4 new cars at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show; 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV, Cherokee SRT, Compass, and Patriot. India will see the launch of Jeep later this year.
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee premium SUV moves forward on a clean EcoDiesel engine offering best in class fuel economy. The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine delivers 30 miles per gallon (mpg) with a single tank going upward of 730 miles ( 1175 kms). A new eight-speed automatic transmission, 60 advanced security and safety features, Quadra-Lift air suspension, and Selec-Terrain traction management system with new Selec-Speed Control add to the SUV’s appeal.
New 2014 Jeep Compass compact SUV is replete with a new six-speed PowerTech automatic transmission, exterior facelift, and new interior variations. Fuel economy efficiency is improved at 30 miles per gallon (mpg) highway. 4×4 capability, ride quality, better handling, and an Off-road Package is on offer. Safety and security features include front-seat-mounted side air bags, ParkView rear backup camera, and more.
Jeep also revealed the all new 2014 Patriot, a compact SUV with a starting price of $15,995. Jeep says that the 2014 Patriot is the best priced 4×4 in America. The new Jeep Patriot features mileage upto 30 mpg, better ride quality, improved handling, and engine options of 2.0L and 2.4L generating 158 and 172 hp respectively.
