2014 Suzuki SX4 Compact Crossover revealed in new set of images
2014 Suzuki SX4 crossover, which made its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March, will soon be making its way into company showrooms across Europe this September. A bevy of photos of this upcoming model have been revealed, while the company has offered in-depth details of its dimensions, engine and fuel efficiency to draw the attention of prospective buyers.
With increased dimensions as compared to the outgoing SX4 model, the new generation SX4 will sit on elongated wheelbase which in turn will contribute to more internal legroom for occupants and added space in luggage boot. It will be offered with an All Grip all wheel drive system with four modes which can be selected from Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock.
Two engine options are also available with the first being a 1.6 liter turbo diesel engine offering 118 hp power and 320 Nm torque. This engine will be mated to a six speed manual transmission and will possess auto start/stop function. Fuel efficiency is pegged at 4.2 liters per 100 km while auto emissions will be at 110 g/km. The second engine option will be 1.6 liter petrol offering 118 hp power while torque figures will stand at 156 Nm. This engine will be mated to a five speed manual while an optional CVT is also on offer. This engine will be capable of fuel consumption of 5.4 liters per 100 km.
