Audi started the New Year with a good start considering that its worldwide sales figures rose to about 16.3%. Audi sold an impressive 1,11,750 units world over during January 2013 mainly due to improved sales of the Audi A4 and Q5. China being Audi’s largest single sales market saw 37,678 individuals opt for their vehicles, an increase of 38.5% as compared to last years figures.
A4L, Q5 and A6l models proved their worth in this region with many opting or these models as opposed to others. Midsize models contributed to significant growth in markets of Germany and UK alike. German markets saw an increase of 70.1% coinciding with sales of Q5 models while UK markets saw an increase of 54.55 in relation to sales of the midsize SUV.
Italy and Spain too saw an increase of 8.7% and 3.9% as many individuals decided to opt for Audi vehicles. Eastern European markets too did well during January 2013 while US markets recorded a sales growth of 13.6%.
