2015 Audi TT spy shot from Mumbai a fake?
2015 Audi TT was reportedly espied on test on the streets of Navi Mumbai recently, as a grainy spy shot has emerged online. But, we have our doubts and think that this spy shot of third gen Audi TT is a fake, and is nothing more than a clever work of photoshop.
Why is the above image fake? One of the biggest difference between existing and 2015 Audi TT, is its front, which has been cleverly hidden, thanks to the use of plant leaves. Secondly, have a closer look at the headlight cluster design. Compared to the old Audi TT, the new 2015 Audi TT has a slightly different design for headlight cluster, but once again, this cannot be seen because the photographer thought of hiding behind some leaves and clicking the photo.
Thirdly, look at the shadow of the outside side-view mirror, it does not match with the shadow of the car. And the biggest of them all, why is the image in such a poor quality, considering that even the cheapest of cameras come with a minimum of 2 megapixel resolution. There are some other difference as well, which I will leave for you to spot. The spy shot has been enlarged for a better view below.
2015 variant of Audi TT premiered at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March To be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options globally, the 2015 Audi TT will be lighter than its current model thereby resulting in better performance, handling and enhanced fuel efficiency.
Three engine options on the new Audi TT will include a 2.0 TFSI engine offering 230 bhp power and 370 Nm torque, a TTS engine producing 310 bhp power and 380 Nm torque and a 2.0 TDI engine offering 184 bhp power and 380 Nm torque. Each of these engines will be mated to either 6 speed manual, 6 speed S-Tronic DSG while an AWD is also an option.
