Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Honda CBR250R for Traffic Police
Okhla based Grand Electronics has revealed Honda CBR250R and Bajaj Pulsar 180 for Traffic Police patrol at the Indian International Security Expo 2013, which was held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. In colors matching the Delhi Police livery in red, blue and white, both bikes sport the word “Police” on its fuel tank, front fairing and at the rear on its cowl.
The Police spec Honda CRB250R and Bajaj Pulsar 180 feature no changes in engine. The CBR250R receives a 250cc, 26 hp, 22.9 torque engine which will have acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds and ability to reach a top speed of 155 kmph, while Pulsar 180 comes with 178 cc, 17 bhp, 14.22 Nm, 0-100 13 seconds and top speed 119 kmph. The Honda models will sport outstanding braking facility with C-ABS thus making it ideally suited for its policing purpose.
Apart from showing these two bikes, Grand Electronics have also tied up with Tata Motors. They displayed Tata Nano and Aria for Police. The Nano, especially, was designed for Delhi woman cops to help women and children in distress. Apart from this, there was the Toyota Fortuner on display from Indian Armour.
