Spyshot placing Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS in Indonesia is fake?
A picture of Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS has surfaced online which suggests that the bike is testing in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, and it may be photoshopped. For all we know, the bike could even be Pulsar 200 SS, given that they look alike, and the bike in picture closely resembles an earlier photograph taken at a dealership.
Speaking of Bajaj Pulsar 400, there is every chance that Indonesian market will see this bike but not until later half of 2015 or early 2016. Indian market is likely to receive Pulsar 400 SS in early 2015 after launch of Pulsar 200 SS. Latter is expected to start selling in India in a few months.
Price of Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS has the change of being less than Rs. 2.0 lakhs, considering the bike which it is based on, KTM RC 390, is expected to be priced between Rs. 2.1 and Rs. 2.3 lakhs. Indonesian market is expecting price of KTM Duke 390 naked bike to fall between 80 and 90 million Rupiah (Rs. 4.13 lakhs and Rs. 4.65 lakhs approx.). Hence, KTM RC 390 and Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS would be priced more than 100 million Indonesian Rupiah (Rs. 5.17 lakhs approx.)
