Chevrolet 2013 COPO Camaro factory drag racing cars 69 vehicles

Chevrolet’s 2013 COPO Camaro factory drag racing events are being scheduled and customers to this exciting show will be announced from Monday, March 11, 2013. This year’s events will see a total of 69 cars being constructed and racers desirous of participating had been given time till Thursday March 7, to register online at www.chevroletperformance.com.

COPO – Central Office Production Order program is in its second year and lends support to those enthusiasts who show special interest in these race cars. This year will see even more enhanced powertrain options and more features which are bound to add to the performance of these vehicles ensuring that they are even more competitive.

2013 will see two all new engines and manual transmission while the COPO Camaro will be offered in three engine choices ranging between 335 to 425 hp. Fuel injection system will be standard which will be used together with Holley Hi-Ram intake manifold. In keeping with customer’s demands the manual transmission will be mated to Powerglide automatic transmission with rear axle gearing optimized depending on engine and transmission.
