The Chevrolet Enjoy is a 7 or 8 seater and though it resembles the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in size, it is actually more spacious and thereby offer better internal comforts. Added comforts are seen in the second and third row seats.
The Enjoy prototype was seen at the 2012 Delhi Auto Show. The production variant of Enjoy MPV here, can be seen with minor changes (including new front grille). Enjoy is slated to be launched with a choice of two engine options. These will include a 1.3 liter Multijet diesel which is also seen in the Chevrolet Sail. The petrol engine will be a 1.4 liter units offering 103 bhp, which is being readied at the company plant at Talegaon near Pune. It will be the diesel engine that will be more preferred for this mighty SUV specially when it comes to highway driving.
Enjoy comes with abundance of interior space but the materials used are not upto mark. Cost-cutting is very evident once you are inside. Besides, there are a host of contrasting shades and varied textures which add to the clutter of cabin unlike what is seen in the Maruti Ertiga, which provides better interior finish.
Where equipment is concerned, Enjoy sports a full spec music system with Aux-in and USB port in its top two variants while a rear roof mounted air conditioning ensures better second row comforts. No prices of Enjoy have been revealed but these should be in the INR 5.60 lakhs to 8.5 lakh categories, reports AutoCar India.
