Daimler mobility Services GmbH to help boost easy commute and travel

Daimler had devised a novel solution to combat rising traffic on roadways by implementing a strategic service system known as Car2go. Car2go is a mobility service which allows people to effectively commute from point A to B. through this system people are able to rent cars on the spur of the moment and use it to commute to their locations. Cars can be parked at any location served by this system.

Car2go systems are available in 18 countries and its current fleet of 6,100 vehicles is set to increase to 10,000 by the end of 2013. Creation of Daimler mobility Services GmbH will enable Daimler to integrate its car2go and moovel transportation services within a single governing module. Moovel provides commuters with intelligent transportation options irrespective of the service provider and transparency.

Available at the Apple store, ‘moovel’ helps commuters choose efficient transportation options which help them to get to and fro from their destination. Apart from this a strategic tie up with GottaPark.Inc will allow Daimler to invest in efficient parking solutions which will make usage of their related transportation system easier and well appreciated by customers.
