With as much emphasis on social responsibilities as being one of the major global automakers, Hyundai Motors, Spain has donated a sum of €50,000 towards development of underprivileged youth in Europe. The donations were made to a nonprofit organization wherein leadership skills of these youngsters will be developed through football.

This donation is part of a larger donation of €250,000 to the UEFA EURO 2012 “Make a Pledge” event which was held during the May to June period in the current year. This amount was handed over to Streetfootballworld by Iker Casillas, Football ambassador to Hyundai and captain of the Spanish National Team.

Streetfootballworld is an NGO that is present in a total of 61 countries and endeavors to bring about a number of programs to foster a feeling of self worth and instill leadership qualities into underprivileged youth. Hyundai will be donating the balance €200,000 during the course of this year to Streetfootballworld in Germany, France, Italy and UK where each country will receive €50,000 each.
