Kia Superman Optima and Cross GT: 2013 Chicago Auto Show

Kia Superman Optima sedan will be seen in Spiderman uniform in colors or blue and red. This one off model will possess an aerodynamic body kit and a special set of alloy wheels. Ride height has been reduced and the model proudly displays the Superman logo.

Jointly developed along with DC Entertainment, the vehicle is being introduced in support of ‘We Can Be Heroes’ fund which offers aid to those who have suffered due to both drought and famine in the Horn of Africa. Superman inspired Kia Optima Hybrid is seen with Man of Steel signature red, blue and yellow colors with the “S” shield painted on its hood. Red accents in the form of red tinted headlights and a custom grille with an “S” shield are also evident. Kia Optima Hybrid joins the other Kia line up which includes Batman Optima, Aquaman Rio hatch, Cyborg Forte hatch, Flash Forte Koup and Green Lantern Soul as it waits for its official debut on February 7, 2013 at the Chicago Auto Show.

Kia GT Cross will be a midsized premium crossover. Speaking about the Cross GT, Kia said, ”Inspired by nature, driven by technology, the Cross GT hints at the future of Kia’s design language in the form of a premium Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) that is larger than the new 2014 Sorento.”
