Lamborghini Aventador gets better top speed and acceleration: Capristo (Photos)

German tuning company Capristo is well versed with aftermarket modifications. The company recently turned their attention to the super sports car Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Company engineers are at work to make this vehicle faster and lighter. To achieve this they will be fitting a special exhaust system which will boost performance while at the same time reducing overall weight.

As on date all Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 models are fitted with 6.5 liter V12 engines offering 690 hp (700 PS) and weighing upto 1,575 kgs. Capristo engineers are at work to replace certain Aventador components with lighter carbon fiber parts which will help in reducing weight. With lighter front and rear aprons, diffuser, front grille, air intakes and trunk liner weight could be reduced by upto 40 kgs which will immediately relate to better performance for which the new exhaust system is also to be given credit.

With the help of these improvements, the tuned up Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will now be able to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.7 seconds as against 2.8 seconds as seen in regular models. Top speed in regular models which stands at 354 kmph in regular models is increased to 357 kmph due to tuning devices installed by Capristo.
