Lamborghini Huracan in red on Mumbai roads already!
Scheduled to be launched officially in India on 22nd September, the Huracan has already arrived in India. Previewed to the elite, it seems that one lucky individual already has got hands on the Lambo before official launch, or the Mumbai dealer is out on a test run.
The previous images include, some spotted while it was getting off-loaded from the cargo bay of a plane at Mumbai airport, some while it was being displayed to a select group of individuals, and some which were revealed by official Lamborghini Delhi and Lamborghini Mumbai Facebook pages. The above image is also the first which shows Lamborghini Huracan in action on an Indian road.
Lamborghini Huracan replaces the most successful Lambo in history – the Gallardo. Powered by a 5.2L V10 generating 610 PS power and 560 Nm torque, the Huracan does a 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 325 kmph. It delivers a mileage of 8 kmpl and emits 250 gms of CO2 per kilometre.
India is amongst the important markets for Lamborghini. Sales have not been great, but they have been growing steadily over the last year. In 2013, Lamborghini India sold 22 units, thereby registering a sales increase of 29% (YoY). With Huracan, Lamborghini hopes to get an even better sales result, as globally, this variant has been a huge success, recording over 1,000 units even before launch. Price of Huracan in India is expected to be in the Rs 3.5 crore bracket.
